In 2015, the project “Probable Environmental Burdens – Surveys at Selected Sites in the Slovak Republic” was launched under the Operational Programme Environment, overseen by the Slovak Ministry of the Environment. Each site underwent contamination surveys and risk assessments. As a subcontractor to the main project contractors DEKONTA Slovensko and ENVIRONEDGE, we participated in the risk assessment studies for the following sites: industrial and toxic waste landfill in Vrakuňa, pesticide storage site in Nová Dedina, railway depot in Bánovce nad Bebravou, Kovohuty Krompachy, Skrutkáreň Stará Ľubovňa, and the former chemical warehouse in Strihovce.
