For Panattoni and Accolade, we conducted both phases of the environmental site audit, with a particular focus on the sediment lagoons of the former sugar mill. At the time of the audit, the lagoons had already been covered with soil and backfill, including demolition debris from the former factory. A risk analysis identified elevated concentrations of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in the fill material, classifying it as hazardous.
