Geographic Information System (GIS) is an information system that allows collection, storing, analyzing and managing data and associated attributes, which are spatially referenced to the Earth. Power of a GIS comes from the ability to relate different information in a spatial context and to reach a conclusion about this relationship.
Through visualization, GIS data can be used to produce maps, images, drawings, animations, and other cartographic products, as well as diagrams or charts. Such presentations provide virtual visualization of real GIS database selection.
Through Internet map server technology, spatial data can be accessed, analyzed and displayed over the Internet or Intranet.
